INTRODUCTION

Disclaimer! I am not an author. Max Lucado does not need to lose any sleep over my foray into the literary world. My “writing” will be more insights and excerpts from authors whose books and commentaries have impacted my life.

These authors include Max Lucado, John MacArthur, Charles Stanley, Tony Evans, A.W. Tozer, Jessie Penn Lewis, C.S. Lewis, Derek Prince, David Jeremiah, Warren Wiersbe, Charles Swindoll, to name a few. I will try faithfully to attribute wherever possible, but if I inadvertently plagiarize their writing I hope they will forgive me.

The section on study notes are my personal notes that I have taken while studying the Bible. These are not comprehensive and will always be a work in progress as I read and learn more. They are simply facts that I wanted to easily access in the future.  Again, I will attribute wherever possible, but you can be sure my notes will come from one of the above authors. Warren Wiersbe and John Macarthur’s commentaries are my staple “go to” books.

It took me a long time to get to the point of collecting everything into one place and sharing it with others. All the doubts came flooding in – who am I to do this? I have never attended Bible School, my studies have been superficial and done on my own, I am not confident in my ability to write and on and on and on….

Then a wise friend gave me the word I needed to get going. She told me not to wait for perfection. Perfection would just lead to paralysis. Just do it, take the first step and let it flow. I could revisit, edit, update, and change whenever I needed to. I followed her advice and here it is – in beta test and rough, but it’s a start.

I am totally open to correction – please correct me when I am wrong! And everyone’s viewpoint and insights are valuable and welcomed. All I ask is that correction is done gently and in love (I am sensitive 😊)
